Skype was my favourite App when I used to work on Windows long ago. And, whenever I tried something else at that time, I never got a feeling to use anything else than Skype.

Skype is the best after all, it has got everything you need to stay in touch with your clients, friends, staff or family. We are using Samsung Android phones since that time and Skype works so good. This is a personal review and Skype staff is not going to pay me anything for this. 😀

Skype chat view gets better and better every time and chats never get stuck. Chats can show pending for a long time, but that does not mean that Skype got stuck, it means that other person did not come online yet and Skype was unable to make the chat delivery. Its so cool with all those emoticons. I cannot chat without all those emoticons now.

I got my Macs and so Mac OS X, but Skype still remained my favourite chat App, I hardly use FaceTime. I am not saying that FaceTime is not good. But, still in this age of world, not everyone has Apple products, so FaceTime is not possible for everyone. Skype works good even on iPads, iPhones, iPods and every other Apple device. So, Skype is an cross device, cross platform alternative to everything and works for everyone. It even works on very low cost phones.

Meanwhile, I tried almost every chat Software out there, including Yahoo, Pidgin, Trillian, Facebook, Google Chat, Hangouts, Jabber and so many others. But, no App got my love the same as Skype. Skype stays on top of everything.

But, still its worth saying that I like FaceTime, Hangouts and WhatsApp as they are very easy to use. But, not as good as Skype in features. FaceTime & WhatsApp are good for simplicity.
